Instant Access Medical confirmed to participate in the  REAL-HEALTH programme, a major 3 year programme funded by the Barts Charity following the award in October 2018 of a  £2.2 million grant.

REAL-HEALTH builds on the success of the nationally leading population health improvement work of the Queen Mary University of London based Clinical Effectiveness Group (CEG) supporting digital improvement in 250 GP practices and 2 million patients in Tower Hamlets, Newham, City and Hackney, Waltham Forest, Redbridge, Havering, Barking and Dagenham Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs).

The REAL-HEALTH programme is developing three projects to demonstrate the scientific and service applications of big data and health data science applied to important clinical and public health issues relevant to equitable health services delivery in ethnically and socially diverse populations in East London.  The REAL-HEALTH projects, each targeting a key area of public health, are:

o          REAL-HEALTH CHILD HEALTH (Childhood obesity and congenital disorders)

o          REAL-HEALTH RESPIRATORY (Asthma)

o          REAL-HEALTH CARDIOVASCULAR (Triple aim of blood pressure control, high intensity statin use and bleeding reduction)

Instant Access Medical will provide its personal care record for participants in the REAL-HEALTH CARDIOVASCULAR program on their mobile phone (IOS and Android).

The personal care record will be interfaced with their GP record, and will include the evidence-based hypertension care pathway, personalised for each patient, and with automatic multilingual alerts, reminders and follow up for patients to get their best outcomes.
